Bangkok Dangerous Features Wonderful Location Shooting

I am not crazy about remakes. There have been a few exceptions of films which I enjoyed and were tributes are adaptations of earlier works. In the case of Bangkok Dangerous, I did not see the original so I figured, let’s give it a try. Besides, I really like Nicolas Cage.

Well, I enjoyed the film but Mr. Cage has a problem – the shape of his head has become an issue. Unless lit and shot properly, he looks downright odd. This film, although competently directed otherwise, exacerbates the situation. Even knowing this, though, I am happy to recommend the film. It has a fairly gripping story and the casting is sound in every respect – a merit I did not expect to find from an otherwise merely adequate production.

Bangkok Dangerous is an enjoyable shoot-em-up which I highly recommend!
