Traitor Is A Fabulous Film Which You Must See

Superb films such as Righteous Kill and The Women are capturing most of the press oxygen. Hence, it is a sad reality that Traitor starring Don Cheadle is escaping much-deserved attention.

It is a superb film! Once again, Mr. Cheadle has found the means of incorporating the devastation taking place in Sudan as a vehicle for communicating a uniquely American story. Naturally, his acting is wonderful but the film is fabulous on its own and for many other reasons: music, casting, story, location shooting, editing…

Guy Pearce is equally fabulous as the almost-Baptist preacher FBI agent sent to learn why Don Cheadle’s character apparently has turned traitor against the United States.

Naturally, I will not spoil the ending but take it from me when I say that the way his character devises to remain loyal yet complete the terrorist plot he has been commissioned to facilitate is genius. You must see this film before it leaves your local cineplex. I promise that you will be glad that I made you go!
